01.10.2011 - National Minimum Wage
From October 2011, National Minimum Wage will increase from:
£5.93 to £6.08 per hour for aged 21 and over
£4.92 to £4.98 per hour for aged 18 to 20
£3.64 to £3.68 per hour for aged 16 to 17
01.10.2011 - Apprentice Minimum Wage
New rate of £2.60 per hour will apply to (i) apprentice under 19, and (ii) apprentice aged 19 and over who are in the first year of their apprenticeship
